COMMITTED LIVING IN APATOA

Turtles Sentinels
Te Honu no Ra’iātea

Just outside our protected lagoon, we work alongside the nonprofit organization to preserve and monitor the turtles that live there. Observation thus becomes a valuable tool for research, and our guests discover this fragile world through a guided, respectful, and committed snorkeling tour.

The Breath of the Reef

Off our beach, we care for the corals that sustain life in the lagoon. Several times a year, we remove invasive algae to allow the corals to breathe, letting the reef regain its natural radiance and strength.

Our Solar Panels

Thanks to solar energy, we provide electricity for all our staff completely independently, and new panels will soon extend this energy independence to our villas, making your stay even more environmentally friendly.

Ma’a for our pigs

At Fetuna, nothing goes to waste: anything you don’t eat feeds our neighbor’s pigs. Every day, we collect our vegetable scraps and food waste to support his pig farm. The pigs are raised with respect and are an integral part of life in our district.

The fa’apu, the living heart of the hotel

In our traditional fa’apu, we grow the tropical flowers and plants that beautify every area of the hotel. This nourishing garden also invites our guests to discover the plants of the fenua—their scents, their colors, and the stories they hold.
